Life throws challenges our way. Things change and external circumstances shift constantly. Nevertheless, we can stand strong in our own true essence and power, if we keep the focus where it needs to be.
Where should the focus be? On what we need right now, in this very moment to keep moving forward. It is easy to get overwhelmed with the enormity of all that can be going on at one time. When this happens, bring your attention and energy back to you. Take care of you, nourish yourself, look after your immediate needs.
Often it is quite a simple reset that can be required. Sometimes more complex if we have let our energy be scattered to the wind for too long.
Learn to recognise when you need to bring yourself back, call your energy back to you and focus on the simple things you can do right now in this very moment to bring peace to your heart.
Every single one of us feels this way sometime. There is no shame in admitting that we have forgotten the very person that we need devote care and attention to (YOU).
Right now, check in with yourself. Where is your energy at? Is it with you or is it outside of you? If it’s not with you – small things right now can bring it back. Shut off from the news/social media, step into nature, take a walk, have a glass of water, read an uplifting book, speak with a kind friend, breath. We have learnt to believe that the solutions for wellbeing are complex. They are not. Bring yourself back.
